D'Arcy Gray

D’Arcy Gray is currently the Principal Timpanist of London Symphonia (formerly Orchestra London Canada) -  a position he has held since 1979.

 

D’Arcy received his BMus and MM at the University of Western Ontario where he taught from 1982-2003. He twice received the USC Award of Excellence in Teaching – UWO.

 

His compositions for acoustic and electronic percussion instruments have been performed internationally and are published by Tymtech Music Productions. Two of his percussion concerti - Science and International Orange were premiered by Orchestra London Canada.
